Description of the lecture
Improving Musical Development:
Integrating Note Reading into Suzuki Violin Lessons with Minimal Time Investment
Join us for an intensive course on note reading, an important skill for Suzuki teachers to teach their students. Led by Kerstin Wartberg and her Thai colleague Polyiam Palitponganpim, who has extensive experience testing Kerstin Wartberg's new note reading materials, you will learn how to effectively integrate this skill into your teaching.
Discover the key to success as all elements are presented in a musical context, with rhythm and pitch exercises accompanied by Vorarat Wattanasombat 's creative piano backing.
In addition, ensemble pieces take students from decoding to confident sight-reading through the combination of pitch, rhythm, bowing notation and musical symbols.
In short, we will show you how to seamlessly and efficiently incorporate note reading into your lessons while striving for musical growth. With this system, practicing note reading is limited to just a few minutes per lesson and can easily be integrated into your teaching routine for maximum impact.
Video demonstrations from Thai students of Kamolmas Charoensook, Polyiam Palitponganpim and Vorarat Wattanasombat show numerous vivid teaching ideas.
You will have access to the video recording of the lecture for 3 months following your purchase.
This course has already ended and is available as a video recording.
