Description of the lecture
Empowering Violinists:
A Strategic Approach to Confident and Safe Student Performances
Performing in public is a big part of music education, and it has many benefits. It helps students gain experience, listen to others, boost their confidence, and make a positive impact in their community. It's also a way to show off what we teach and attract new students.
But getting students ready for performances can be tough. In this presentation, I'll talk about why it's important to plan each school year. I'll share tips on practicing, how we use technology, ways to help students feel more confident, and how to assess the whole process.
