These piano accompaniments are extremely helpful in many ways.

Rhythm exercises

  • A 2-measure introduction for each exercise establishes the basic pulse.
  • The piano accompaniment keeps the tempo consistent.
  • It's short and sweet! All three rhythm exercises together are only 1 minute long. Students can concentrate successfully in a short activity.
  • Clapping along with the piano is fun!

 

Pitch exercises

  • A 1-measure introduction for each exercise establishes the first pitches for the children to sing.
  • The piano accompaniment supports better intonation.
  • The steady piano accompaniment helps students pace their sight-singing rhythmically.
  • It's short and sweet! All three vocal exercises together are only 1 minute long. Students can concentrate successfully in this short activity.
  • Singing along with the piano makes the vocal exercises fun!


Exercise package with all rhythm and pitch exercises

At the end of each step, you find an audio file containing all six exercises combined.
This exercise package lasts less than 2 minutes.
Completing all exercises in succession helps further stabilize and reinforce the learning content.
